Chinese name : Austenitic 321 stainless steel；

Definition : Stainless steel with austenitic structure at normal temperature；

● 321 stainless steel evolved on the basis of the composition of 18-8 type stainless steel, mainly in the following important developments:
1) 321 stainless steel with Mo to improve pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion resistance;
2) 321 stainless steel is reduced by C or added with Ti and Nb to reduce the tendency of intergranular corrosion;
3) 321 stainless steel with Ni and Cr to improve high temperature oxidation resistance and strength;
4) 321 stainless steel with Ni to improve stress corrosion resistance;
5) 321 stainless steel adds S and Se to improve machinability and surface accuracy of components.
